A sad message: Diego passed away last night, as he Lost the fight against cancer. His health deteriorated quickly the last couple of months. With his weathered face and Big grey beard he looked old, but he was only 57...

The old garbage containers is history, we have to use the New ones as of today. Torre have their own, run by keys. Bossare and rest of village use those on piazza Biancheri next to Mayors. Get your kit at the Comune. Brown paper bag for paper/carton, yellow bag for plastic, small green bag for organic, black bags for other rubbish and the plastic card for glass. Each bag has a QR code that you hold in front of its proper container, to open the hold. For glass, hold the plastic card in front of the separate QR code reader on the left of all containers, it will open the hold for glass. If it's raining, dry off the QR code readers first, or Reading might not work. It's Easy.

The fire above Torri creeping down the mountain on the right side of Bevera, approximatily between Bossare and the first bridge along Bevera when you hike towards Collabassa. Helicopter is flying, Hope they get this one under control before wind sets in.

This year the Amici has voted in favour of offering our local bar/café and the Pro Loco association now in charge, a whole New set of terrace furniture!
10 tables and 40 chairs, selected with Pro Loco, has been ordered and will soon be delivered, to a total value of €2.500:-.
The old furniture had really Seen their best days and finally the terrace will actually take the shape of a Real café and for all Olivetta inhabitants and visitors, to profit from. Photos will be published when delivered, on this page and coming news letter. Thank you for supporting our association so that we can continue to support and improve our beautiful village!

Water restrictions (closed) as of today between 23h-6:30 on a daily basis due to high consumtion of tap water. Pls respect your water consumption to strict minimum so that we can get through the summer together.
