XTrolley was born from real, on-the-ground needs: construction sites, events, hospitality and all those situations where energy is essential but access is slow or unreliable. Too often, the market forces teams to choose between solutions that are bulky or hard to manage operationally.

🎙️ “What was missing was a truly mobile solution.” A solution designed to be moved easily and used quickly without compromising on safety, performance or quality.

A key turning point came during our workshops together at Notomia. The project initially lived under a different name: CarX, because the focus was primarily on automotive use cases.
“Then we realized it wasn’t ‘just for cars’: it was about energy in mobility.”

That shift changed the entire direction: broader contexts, wider applications and a stronger identity aligned with Next’s real ambition. It was a strategic reframing of what the business could become.

Together, we clarified priorities and positioning, creating a narrative that stays consistent across stakeholders, from technical buyers to partners and investors. And with that clarity in place, we translated strategy into practical, growth-ready tools.

Gen Alpha tends to see it as a natural, everyday tool, easy to use and widely accepted;

Overall trust in AI remains limited. Gen Alpha shows a more relaxed, optimistic attitude, whereas Gen Z looks for clearer transparency and stronger accountability.

One of the most innovative aspects of the project was the integration of artificial intelligence to simplify the recycling process of electronic waste (WEEE).​

📷 With this feature, users simply take a picture of an object and the AI instantly analyzes its visual characteristics. The system identifies the item in real time, classifies it in the correct WEEE category and provides clear, actionable guidance on how to dispose of it or where to bring it for repair or recycling.​

This “one-shot” interaction makes the entire flow seamless: just one photo is enough to receive practical information immediately. User feedback highlighted the effectiveness of this approach, confirming its speed, intuitiveness, and accessibility.​

🔎 By embedding advanced image recognition into the app, we transformed what is usually perceived as a complex and technical process into a smooth, everyday action. The result is a more engaging, user-friendly tool that empowers people to contribute to sustainability with ease.​

♻️ When you choose to recycle, it shows the amount of material that will be recovered from each object.​
🛡️ It includes a dedicated section that explains consumers’ rights.​

🌐 From layout to navigation, every element was designed to enhance discoverability and usability, making it easy for visitors to explore the space, discover events, and request private bookings.​
📸 The interface integrates seamlessly with the visual identity: neutral tones, refined typography, and wide imagery work together to convey atmosphere and personality without distraction.​
🌀 The virtual tour was not treated as an accessory, but as a true part of the experience, a bridge between the digital and the physical, open to anyone, anywhere.​

The result is a website that doesn’t just inform, but invites. A digital extension of Sala Sironi’s character: sophisticated, accessible, and ready to welcome new experiences.​

✔️For MyRAEE, UX design meant reducing friction at every step. Feedback from the fair highlighted the need for simpler flows, more intuitive navigation, and a friendlier tone of voice. We optimized the app’s structure, refined the microcopy, and made interactions seamless to ensure that everybody could use it without barriers.

✔️ In parallel, UI design played a central role in creating accessibility and engagement. We chose an illustrative style, capable of appealing to everybody. Each screen features different illustrations: MyRAEE objects placed within natural environments (leaves, branches, animals) to symbolically reconnect technology with nature.
The variety of illustrations across screens encourages exploration, reinforcing curiosity and supporting the app’s educational goal.

🍃 The warm, cheerful color palette reinforces a positive attitude toward sustainability, making the message less technical and more relatable.

The result is a digital product that combines practical utility with cultural impact, an app that guides action while also educating, turning sustainability into a shared, everyday responsibility.
