There are albums that don’t just define a moment — they shape an entire cultural landscape. Ten by Pearl Jam is one of them.
Captured here through the lens of Kai Schäfer’s World Records series, the iconic vinyl finds a new stage on the Accutrac 4000 turntable — a machine that itself represents a milestone in the evolution of sound and design.
As a curator, I’m drawn to works that carry both emotional gravity and historical resonance. Ten is not merely music; it is a document of raw human expression, a bridge between vulnerability and power, and a defining voice of its generation.
In this composition, analog technology and timeless sound converge — reminding us that true artistry transcends medium. It lives on, recontextualized, yet unchanged in its essence.

For the first time in Italy, works by the young German artist Moritz Thoma are on view, presented through the mediation of the art advisory platform Opus in Artem.

The works are present in a permanent group show installation at Dr. Fake Cabinet Gallery in Turin and introduce Thoma’s distinctive artistic language to an Italian audience.

Born in Munich in 1996, the 29-year-old artist began working as an independent artist while studying art education. Since then, he has continuously developed his craft in a largely autodidactic way, driven by a constant search for new techniques and materials.

Alice – Pop Art meets a fairytale icon
With large, penetrating eyes she gazes directly into our world: Alice, by the Turin-based artist Angelo Barile.

In his painting, Barile combines elements of Pop Surrealism / Lowbrow Art with a strongly emotional visual language, placing figures from the world of childhood at the center of his works. They appear both innocent and mysterious – as if they were observing us and questioning our reality.

In this work, the iconic figure from “Alice in Wonderland” transforms into a modern pop icon: a fragile character suspended between fairytale, nostalgia, and subtle irony. The oversized eyes, the doll-like face, and the reduced pictorial space are typical stylistic devices of the artist – enhancing the psychological intensity of the portrait.

A work that poetically blurs the boundary between childlike fantasy and the complex world of adults.

Spring is approaching – the season when nature slowly begins to awaken.
In the photographic series “Flowers from my Garden”, photographer MATTHIAS LANGER explores the delicate moment between bloom and disappearance.
Inspired by the tradition of Baroque flower still lifes, Langer does something unexpected: instead of freezing a moment, he allows time itself to become visible.

The flowers are picked in his garden, carefully arranged, and then photographed with an exposure time of four days.
During this time, the flowers slowly wither, bend and move.
What the camera captures is not a single moment, but the dance of time.
Movement, decay, and beauty merge into one image.

As spring approaches and nature prepares for renewal, these works remind us that every bloom already carries the poetry of its transience.

Miles Davis - Kind of Blue - a milestone in music history.

Released in 1959, the album by Miles Davis is widely regarded as the most influential jazz record of all time. By moving away from complex chord progressions toward modal structures, Davis created a new space for improvisation, intuition, and timeless expression.
Featuring John Coltrane, Bill Evans, and Cannonball Adderley.

Photographed on a Rek-O-Kut B-12GH Rondine —
a legendary broadcast and studio turntable of the 1950s. Built for precision, torque, and sonic stability, it became a standard in radio stations worldwide, designed for continuous use and uncompromising sound reproduction.

A dialogue between musical history and analog engineering.
Timeless. Precise. Enduring.

Historical context and cultural references are becoming increasingly relevant in the art market and among collectors.

History is not a backdrop here — it is material.
A central fragment refers to the US magazine Ramparts, a powerful voice of political conscience in the 1960s. Most striking is the echo of the cover The Ex*****on of Dr. King: a distorted American flag as an indictment of violence, abuse of power, and collective amnesia.

🌟 Functional Art Meets Luxury & Lifestyle 🌟

The works of Nicole Doth powerfully demonstrate how art and craftsmanship merge — from functional furniture pieces to sculptural one-of-a-kind works. Each creation tells a story that goes far beyond aesthetics, redefining the space between art, design, and lifestyle.

For us, one thing is clear: the future lies in networks of creatively and constructively overlapping business fields. Those who connect art, craftsmanship, design, and lifestyle create sustainable added value — for clients, brands, and markets alike.

Our vision: to establish Nicole Doth in the Italian market in a long-term and sustainable way, to make her visions tangible, and to strengthen creative networks across national borders. A special highlight in this context is her M-Box for all nations 🌟

“Behind all the flags of the world stand people, each belonging to a different nation. They symbolize that, despite all differences, humanity itself is the greatest common denominator.”
— Nicole Doth

Q: Which creative network has inspired you most recently — and how do you connect art, craftsmanship, or design in your own projects?

Opus in Artem Loft

Herenda’s sculptural work explores the tension between organic form and structural reduction, allowing material and space to enter into a quiet visual dialogue.
