Founded in 1977 by Gianni and Patrizia Gamberini, Grafiche dell’Artiere has become a completely unique company amongst Italian printshops, thanks to its obsessive search for quality and new printing, paper and binding solutions. Our name gives away our secret: Artiere is an Italian word which means a combination between artist and craftsman. A modern craft-artist who uses technology and modern pri
nt techniques to constantly improve the quality of their work. Grafiche dell’Artiere is a company built on a human scale, where each and every employee is driven by a great passion for printing. This means that every job, even the smallest, receives unrivalled attention and commitment, and is given the utmost care and attention right through to delivery. The work of Grafiche dell’Artiere is set apart by our strong sensitivity
and attention towards colour, paper, media and custom processes: the goal is to provide an efficient, complete service with exhaustive technical support, all strictly within the specified delivery times. A full-service offering, from pre-press right through to printing and packaging. Grafiche dell’Artiere’s vision reflects the passion and creativity of a company which has been producing highly innovative and top-quality creations for decades. Grafiche dell’Artiere combines research, technology and innovation to develop and produce print projects which reflect both artistic and craftsmanlike skill. Customer satisfaction, obtained through commitment and research as well as the use of the most advanced technologies and a constant drive to find new methods and media. The choice to keep specific and dedicated activities inside the company allows us to customise and personalise the services we offer by handling the work ourselves. What sets Grafiche dell’Artiere’s spirit apart is our curiosity, care and attention towards everything new, a continual investment and use of technology to improve printing techniques and quality, but never forgetting past traditions and art. Grafiche dell’Artiere follows the ethical guidelines laid out by FSC and ISO 14001 certifications in social and environmental matters. Grafiche dell’Artiere promotes a focus on environmental impact and the local territory, our values and traditions reflecting a strong sensitivity towards craftsmanship, the quality of materials we use, finishing processes and a commitment to the local area, where the company and its employees work with the utmost respect for both man and nature. The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is an international, non-profit NGO. The FSC represents an internationally recognised forestry certification. The purpose of this certification is correct management of forests and the traceability of products deriving from them. The FSC logo guarantees that a product has been manufactured from raw materials taken from forests which are correctly managed in accordance with two main standards: forestry management and chain of custody. For a company, obtaining ISO certifications is a recognition of its quality – ISO 9001 was first published in 1987, revised for the first time in 1994 and substantially revised in 2000, with the last update coming in 2008 (ISO 9001:2008), and acknowledged in the same year by the Italian standards organisation UNI (UNI EN ISO 9001:2008[1]); this standard sets out the requirements for an organisation’s quality management system. The requirements are of a “general nature” and can be implemented by any kind of organisation. ISO 14001 certification is not obligatory, but is rather the choice of a company or organisation which has decided to establish, implement, maintain or improve an internal environmental management system. It is also important to remember that ISO 14001 certification demonstrates that the certified organisation has a management system able to keep control over the environmental impacts of its activities and is systematically seeking out improvements in a consistent, effective and, above all, sustainable manner.
