Job Title: Accounting
Job location: Baghdad
• Tasks and Responsibilities
1- Reconciliation of the ledger and revision of tables.
2-Reconcile the ledger, prepare schedules, and take timely actions to solve any problems.
3- Provide analyzes and reports related to the opening of an item in the ledger and take the necessary actions to clarify them.
4- Standardization of accounting tables and implementation of the quality audit process.
5- Continuous improvement of the GL review process.
6- Gather information related to BS from relevant stakeholders to ensure proper settlement of accounts.
7- Track and analyze the monthly ledger against budget and alignment and highlight any significant business discrepancies. This includes tracking and reconciling outstanding balance sheet items.
8- Facilitate closing of monthly or annual books and business support.
9- Prepare a compliance checklist that includes ICM recurring allotments, missed expense accruals, prepaid adjustment entries, and settlement entries.
10- Recognize the monthly entries requiring conversion and reclassification, and make conversion entries and reclassification entries in all businesses.
11- Preparing and negotiating the monthly loan settlement between companies.
12- Ensure that PAF entries are posted in a timely manner to support the business process.
13- Provide support in weekly inventory forecasts and monthly or annual closings, and provide month-end inventory after a comprehensive review by the company.
14- Coordinate with external auditors and ensure timely response and documentation.
• Application criteria
1. Certified Management Accountant Certificate or any accredited certificate in the field of accounting.
2. 5-7 years of similar experience, with good knowledge of accounting and ERP systems.
3. Good knowledge of IFRS, excellent analytical skills, focus on operations with excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as ability to work in a team.
4. Good knowledge of Excel with previous experience working with large databases, presentation skills and knowledge of ERP, knowledge of using SAP, ERP and other accounting software is preferred
