📰 Industrial Visit to The Hindu Printing Press! 🗞️

​The final-year MBA students of the Department of Business Administration visited The Hindu newspaper printing press on 10 September 2026 for an enriching industrial exposure experience.

​The delegation was warmly received by Mr. I. V. S. Pardhasaradhi, Regional Head – Andhra Pradesh & Odisha. He delivered an insightful session detailing the operational journey of newspaper production, highlighting the critical role of accuracy, language proficiency, and logistics management in journalism.

​Students learned about the diverse business verticals of The Hindu Group, such as Young World and Teen Digest, along with its institutional partnerships and neutral editorial philosophy. An engaging Q&A allowed students to dive deep into media operations and responsible reporting.

The Department of Business Administration organized a Special Invited Talk on “Mind Over Matter: Realizing Your True Potential Through Self-Realization” on 2 September 2026. 🌿🧘‍♀️

The session was delivered by Dr. Saroja Gullapalli, Founder of Beyond Your Mind (BYM) Foundation. Nearly 200 PG students and 25 faculty members participated. Sri V. Naga Bhushan Rao, Vice President, Siddhartha Academy, graced the occasion.

The Department of Business Administration and the Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) of PBSCAS, in collaboration with Bharatiya Yuva Shakti Trust (BYST), organised an Entrepreneur Awareness Programme for the students of MBA (Analytics) and MBA.

The programme aimed to create awareness among students about entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial opportunities, and the skills required to become successful entrepreneurs.

Sri M. Srirama Rao, Chief Manager (Retd.), Central Bank, and Sri A. L. N. Prasad, State President, BYST, served as the Resource Persons. They shared their valuable insights and practical experiences on entrepreneurship and encouraged students to explore entrepreneurial opportunities.

The Department of Business Administration organised a workshop on “Competencies Expected by Industry from MBA Graduates in the AI Era” on 10 August 2026. Dr. Ibrahim, Principal Consultant, ABIA Consultants, Dubai, served as the resource person. He sensitised MBA students to AI literacy, data-driven decision-making, digital competence, strategic thinking, problem-solving, leadership, communication, innovation, adaptability and responsible use of AI. He emphasised continuous learning and skill upgradation to enhance students’ employability and career readiness in the evolving AI-driven business environment.

Campus Recruitment Training (CRT) Programme
A Campus Recruitment Training (CRT) Programme was conducted for the Post Graduate students of P. B. Siddhartha College of Arts & Science from 3–8 August 2026, under the aegis of the NAANDI Foundation. The programme aimed to enhance students’ employability and preparedness for campus recruitment and competitive selection processes.
The training was facilitated by Mr. Yellepeddi Vijaya Raghava Krishna, Mr. G. Balachandra, and Ms. S. Abisha Shirley. The sessions focused on aptitude, logical reasoning, communication, problem-solving, interview skills, group discussions, and professional competencies through interactive and practical learning methods.
The programme received active student participation and significantly improved their confidence, communication skills, professional attitude, and career-readiness. It provided valuable exposure to competencies expected by employers and enhanced students’ prospects in the competitive job market.

The Department of Business Administration organized an Invited Talk on "21st Century Landscape: Impact of AI" on 13 July 2026. Delivering the keynote address, Mr. K. Vijay Rao, renowned business leader and entrepreneur, emphasized that Artificial Intelligence is not a futuristic concept but a transformative reality. He explained that AI is changing the way people work, communicate, relate, and think. He observed that the future demands more generalists than specialists, making continuous learning and self-improvement an individual responsibility.
