This Association recognised by C&AG of India early in 1952, which represents the major chunk of the employees of this office, had a glorious history of eminent fraternity from the date of inception of Kerala AG’s Offices. The leading force behind us is the unity, patronage and affection given to this Association by the employees of this office. We, as a responsible organisation of this institution
, through decades had paved the way to an unblemished work culture in this office. Let us work together to achieve the excellence hand in hand. This Association works as federal unit of the recognised service organisation, the All India Audit and Accounts Association. Unlike the private sector, we, the Employees of Indian Audit and Accounts Department, working under the Comptroller and Auditor General of India, through sustained and selfless struggles by decades along with other Central Government Employees, had attained certain rights and immunities, we enjoy today. Of late, unfortunate to say, such rights and immunities are being taken away from us, through legislations. One of such legislation was PFRDA Bill which took away the right for pension to those joining Government service on or after 1.1.2004. Welfare of the employees is our prime concern and all look forward to this organisation in every matter regarding their service in this office. Our representatives are on the helms of all welfare institutions of this office such as Staff Recreation Club – which facilitates all sports, recreational, cultural, literary activities of the employees including a Library, Co-operative Credit Society - which caters financial needs of employees and Consumer Co-operative Society – which renders quality services in supplying food items, vegetable and consumer goods to the requirement of employees. We represent employees in the Office Councils, the official body for discussing staff problems with Administration at field level in both A&E and Audit offices. Audit Association-III has 6 members and Accounts Association-III have 5 members out of 8 Staff side members in the respective Councils. Staff Side Leader and Secretary in both the Councils also are from this Association. In the Departmental Council of Indian Audit & Accounts Department, our federation, All India Audit and Accounts Association have 10 members out of 14 Staff Side members including Staff Side Leader as well as Secretary.
