Temporary Workers' Accommodation During Construction:
As per traditional Vedic Vastu principles, temporary stay of construction workers within an under-construction property does not constitute a permanent Vastu defect. However, the temporary residential and service arrangements should be positioned appropriately within the Vastu Purusha Mandala. Workers' sleeping accommodation is preferably placed toward the South, West or South-West portions. The North-East (Ishanya) should be kept clean, light and relatively open and should not be used for sleeping, cooking, toilets or heavy storage. Temporary cooking facilities should preferably be located in the South-East (Agneya), while temporary toilet/service arrangements may be considered toward the North-West, subject to the site layout. The Brahmasthan should remain as unobstructed as practically possible. Heavy construction materials should preferably be stored toward the South, West or South-West. These measures are intended to maintain the Vastu balance during the construction phase and do not imply that workers residing temporarily at the site will create a permanent Vastu defect in the completed property.
