This is a question someone asked me a few days back.🧐

"no matter what, the next generation always leads a better life".

To understand this quote, look at the smartphone you’re holding right now.

Isn’t it better from the phone you had held 5 years back❓

I believe your answer is definitely yes.✔

By looking at your phone, you can imagine how our living standard has improving day by day.

And I believe a person or community does business only for growth.

And if businesses will grow, you can easily imagine how far the stock market will go.

I hope you got my answer.✅

The stock market will not only touch 18k but go even beyond.

Like look for monopolists companies who are selling essential goods and services which can include baby milk power, Chappals, undergarments, blood tests, pain killer etc.😃👍

If you have not heard of Curt Degerman, Read Caption⬇️

Curt Degerman was a garbage picker who picks recycling bins for cans and bottles, which he sold to a recycling plant.😊

He had no family of his own.👨‍👧‍👧

No loans. No debt.❌

His vehicle was an old bicycle.🚴‍♂️

And, thanks to his “lifestyle”, his expenses were little, if at all.🔅

When he died in 2008 at the age of 60, many believed that he died in POVERTY.🔚

However, he had died as a Secret Millionaire.💰

This story I bring from the book called ‘Psychology of Money’ by Morgan Housel.👨

He emphasises that investing is not only about the financial aspects.❌

It’s about how people deal with their behaviour when it comes to money.✅

And I’m totally in sync with his perspective about money.✅

Actually, Wealth is What we don’t see.🧐

Like a habit of paying YOURSELF FIRST🥇

Building ASSET over a period of time.🏡

Here you can’t see anything instantly.🤔

But at the back, work is in progress.

In other words
Wealth is something that pays your own pocket and not your lender.💵

You don't really need to be an expert to start your investment journey. READ CAPTION⬇️

Yes, you have heard it right.✅

When I had to begin my investment journey.👨

People around me were only talking about Mutual Funds.📉

However, no one talked about INDEX FUNDs.🛑

Because expense ratios in actively managed funds are higher.⬆️

Whereas Index Funds are passively managed funds.💰

So, the fund manager follows a market index.📉📈

And does not require any management team to make investment decisions actively.❌

That’s the reason they are cheaper and not marketed well.💵

And I highly advocate if you’re new to the stock market and don’t know where to begin.✅

Then surely go with INDEX FUNDS instead of picking random stocks based on tips.👍

Is it the price of the stock or its market value❓

I’m sure that most of you get influenced by the price, and very few understand the concept of selecting a company based on its value.❌

Though Market cap can’t be the sole domain of valuation of the company.👨‍💻

But can give you a larger view of how the market values the company.🤩

Now, what is Market Cap or Market Capitalization❓

In plain language, it tells you about the size of the company.🐘

You get to know whether the company is small, medium or big.🤙

You’ll be in a better position to know how much risk is involved.✅❌

If you are a new investor, then choose LARGE CAP as it involves low risk.👨

How do you buy a business to invest in❓Read Caption⬇️

This is a question recently asked by my friend.👨

I replied that apart from various things, a specific aspect I first look into.🤙

Is to see the potential of business in the next 10 years.🔟

To predict the future of any business.📉

It would be best if you analysed the current operations of the business.✅

Understand the business on various parameters.👨‍💻

So, it will be easy to hold the business for the next 10 years.🔟

But that doesn’t mean that you buy the business and forget it.❌

You need to analyse the business once a quarter.😎

On the other hand, PAST results are only meant for guidance and should not become the reason to buy.🛑
