MAJOR CHANGES IN GST

HSN CODE - From April 2025 GST Return you have to give Correct HSN code in 6 digit mandatorily otherwise your return will not be filled and you have to pay late return filling fees
• If your sales are above 1.5 crore annually then you have to maintain 6 digit HSN code otherwise 4 digit HSN code.
• With wrong HSN you will not be able to generate E-way Bill & e-Invoice.
• You have to pay penalty of Rs.25000/- for incorrect invoicing.

HSN কোড - ২০২৫ সালের এপ্রিল থেকে GST রিটার্নে আপনাকে ৬ সংখ্যার সঠিক HSN কোড বাধ্যতামূলকভাবে দিতে হবে, অন্যথায় আপনার রিটার্ন পূরণ করা হবে না এবং আপনাকে বিলম্বে রিটার্ন ফি দিতে হবে
• যদি আপনার বিক্রয় বার্ষিক ১.৫ কোটি টাকার বেশি হয় তবে আপনাকে ৬ সংখ্যার HSN কোড, অন্যথায় ৪ সংখ্যার HSN কোড বজায় রাখতে হবে।
• ভুল HSN ব্যবহার করলে আপনি ই-ওয়ে বিল এবং ই-ইনভয়েস তৈরি করতে পারবেন না।

• ভুল ইনভয়েসের জন্য আপনাকে ২৫০০০/- টাকা জরিমানা দিতে হবে।

TIME LIMIT TO MAINTAIN THE BOOKS OF ACCOUNTS

As per Section 36 of the CGST Act, 2017, every registered person must keep and maintain the accounts books and records for at least 72 months (6 years) from the due date of furnishing of annual return for the year pertaining to such accounts and records.

According to section 147 of the Income Tax Law, the Income Tax Department is legally allowed to send the taxpayers a notice in the next 10 years from the date of filing the ITR.
