While the world has managed to avoid a full-scale, undeclared World War III, the active involvement of three nations in geopolitical conflict has still managed to trigger an unprecedented global energy crisis. In the wake of this severe disruption, the International Energy Agency (IEA) must step up and issue urgent, mandatory directives to all nations. Specifically, the IEA should compel governments to transition all public transit and localized transport entirely to Electric Vehicle (EV) technology. By doing so, the world can drastically reduce its daily oil dependence and strategically reserve dwindling fossil fuel stocks exclusively for vital, intercontinental transport and emergency logistics. If global leaders fail to act swiftly and decisively to implement these conservation measures, the resulting resource scarcity and economic collapse will push nations past the breaking point, bringing an undeniable civil war to the brink.
