Daya has a multidisciplinary background. He served Indian Air Force as a SSC officer after his engineering in Electronics and Telecom and MBA (Finance) from SJMSOM, IIT Bombay.

With more than 20 years in the Indian Stock market, he has made majority of his money in inefficiencies arising out of Demergers.

Special situation investing has been a happy hunting ground for him and that is what he practices in along with GARP and management change themes.

Daya is a serial entrepreneur. Apart from the advisory, he runs a 60 people IT Engineering company with fortune 500 clients.
