With a view to cultivate education and profession / business together, foresighted and dedicated teachers from colleges of Pune started this Bank, under the name and style of “Vidya Sahakari Bank Ltd.” on June 9,1974. These teachers were primarily from the stream of Commerce and Economics. Within a short span of time the Bank was able to achieve public faith and grew as one of the leading Urban Co-operative Banks. Since its inception, the Bank has made its best efforts to provide all modern facilities and services to its customers.
