_*BEING GREAT --*_

‎G - gratitude
‎R- respect
‎E - empathy
‎A - altitude
‎T - value time

*‎Gratitude*
‎What does one mean by gratitude?
‎Gratitude is being grateful, to anybody or everybody for the things they have done.
‎It is the appreciation and recognition for all the favours received.
‎We need to grateful to people even if they are doing their regular duties.
‎We need to be grateful to our parents, spouse, family members, teachers and all the people who help us In our daily life.
‎If we are grateful and kind to people in general the universe will reciprocate in the same way and the world will be a good place to be in.
‎Always be grateful to your parents, as they are the ones who have got you to this world and they have always tried to give you the best as per their ability. The best way to be thankful to them is being there when they need you. It is pretty simple spending money or sending gifts is not what parents generally look for, they look forward to spending quality time with their kids. When we give someone our time it is the most valuable thing that you give as it is something which will never come back.
‎Being grateful for the positives in life can have a profound impact on your mood, outlook, and overall well-being in life.
‎One needs to be genuinely thankful to your spouse as your better half shares all the family responsibilities. Always try to keep your partner happy by sharing the responsibilities and trying to reduce the work of the partner. It is not simple but certainly a good gesture which helps you in strengthening your relationship. Having a truthful and healthy relationship with your partner is always helpful. Getting a good partner in life is like hitting a golden jackpot, which not all are fortunate to hit. But appreciating small things and communication with the partner without any secrecy is the key to successful relationship. Never impose in any relationship, be as close to the truth as possible and try and show the right 0ath but do not impose.
‎A person is a student all his life, as there is a new learning everyday, those lessons can come from anyone. So consider them as your guru and express your gratitude towards them.
‎Our teachers are the ones who have imparted the knowledge to us which has given us the wings to fly in the outside world. Our teachers can be from our school, our bosses, our colleagues or any other person from whom we learn the way of life. Always thank them, it's a small gesture but will certainly help.
‎The watchman, the sweeper, the garbage collectors these people are so important in the society, we need to also express our gratitude to them by probably just acknowledging their efforts.

*‎Respect*
‎We have time and again come across respect is to be commanded and not to be demanded. When you throw a ball to the wall it comes back with the same force. Same is with respect, when you want respect first learn to give respect.
‎Always treat others with kindness and dignity, valuing others feelings. It is the recognition and the appreciation for the value added by the person. Always try and remember that when you give respect you also get respect. Try and be humble to people.
‎Respect comes with age and knowledge. With age because the person has gained wisdom through experience and other is through knowledge, even if the person is younger but is more knowledgeable he has earned that respect. Experience happens to be the best teacher in life and when you meet an experienced person always bow down before the person to value their learnings in life. They might be your best guide.

*‎Empathy*
‎It is the ability to understand other people. This is the most important quality and very difficult to find in a person. It is the most important quality for maintaining healthy relationships. Empathy is not a quality which is present in all people, it is an emotional quality. The world would be such a nice place to live in if all the people are emphatic and understand each other. Imagine the rosy picture. Wow the life would be full of love and happiness all around. No anger, no jealousy, no hatred, no conflicts, no selfish people. Too difficult to imagine isn't it. But we can always start by trying to change ourselves by being emphatic towards others. It is important to understand others pain and be kind to them and help them find a solution to their problems.

*‎Attitude*
‎It is the most important quality in a person. Having a positive attitude influences your thinking positively. Our attitude generally determines our reactions to various types of situations. Our attitude determines our personality. A person with a positive attitude always outperform. Your attitude changes the way you look at a problem to find a solution.
‎Take ownership of the problem rather than running away from it. This attitude will make you wanted everywhere.

*‎Timeliness*
‎Always learn to value time. As it never comes back, once lost is lost forever. When we are punctual, means we respect the other persons time. You have given a positive impression by being on time. This is the first step towards having a successful meeting. Always keep in mind that successful people are always punctual. As they are the people who know the value of time.

‎Not all people can have all these qualities but if we even try and implement around 60% to 70% of the qualities, no one can stop us from being GREAT.

India : On the cusp of multi year growth
The Indian economy is growing at 6 to 7% which is one of the fastest growing economies in the world.
The real value in any investment comes from holding it and having patience and giving your investment the time to unfold its true potential.
The bull market in Japan lasted for over 40 years and now I will stick my neck out to say it's now all time.
"Apna time aayega" nahi aya hai !!!
We are all set to be at 7 trillion dollar economy by 2030 or even earlier, which will be the fourth largest economy in the world.
India is at a situation where China was in 2006 or 2007.
Every economy generally has three phases
The growth phase.
The maturity phase.
The decline phase that is if not managed properly.
Generally the developing economies are in the first phase that is the growth phase. Indian economy is at an early growth phase.
India is going to harness huge profits out of its a demographic advantage. The median age of Indians is around 28 years which will be around 31 years in 2030. This translates into use working class of population which will in turn drive and the consumption boom in the country for the decades to come.
There is a huge infrastructure activity happening in India, connecting the rural and the urban parts, so that every person in the nation is benefited out of the progress that the nation is making.
To put it in figures around 73000 km of road infrastructure has been built in the last 10 years. And is rapidly progressing with a daily construction of 36 km of road. Use infrastructure development is happening on the railways, ports and airports as well.
The PLI scheme has incentivised new private investment in the manufacturing sector. Adding to this China plus one is helping the cause as many global corporates have started setting up their shops in India.
Housing and urbanisation creates robust demand for steel cement and other allied building materials.
Our country has both the capacity and the talent to cater to the needs of the world.
We have seen the worst of inflation. The crude oil prices are now on a down trend which is a good sign for the Indian economy.
Earnings of Indian companies have started compounding with the EPS of the Nifty standing at around 860.
The digital revolution has helped in getting many Indians into the main stream. Digital era has also helped to keep a check on the parallel economy.
India has invested a lot in renewable energy which has helped in a smooth shift from the carbon intensive to renewable energy sources.
So to participate in the growth story of India, one needs to allocate funds to equity or increase their equity allocation as per their risk profile.
