MSME International Day – June 27

MSME International Day, observed annually on June 27, recognizes the vital role that Micro, Small, and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs) play in driving global economic growth and sustainable development. Established by the United Nations in 2017, the day aims to raise awareness of the contributions and challenges faced by MSMEs worldwide.

MSMEs make up over 90% of businesses globally and account for around 70% of employment and 50% of GDP in many countries. They are key engines of innovation, job creation, and inclusive growth, especially in developing economies.

The day serves as a reminder of the need to support and empower MSMEs through improved access to finance, markets, and technology. It also highlights the importance of creating a business environment that enables these enterprises to thrive and adapt to global changes such as digital transformation and climate challenges.

Maharashtra Government New Tourism Policy-2024

Driven by its goal to achieve a $ 1 Trillion economy by 2028, a New Tourism Policy to generate 1.8 million job over the next to years, attract investors and industry players, and boost the prospects of the sector and economy.

Few High lights of the policy:

Monetary Incentives:- Up-to 20% of the eligible capital investment or Rs 20 Crore, whichever is less.
Incentives for Tourism Units such as, Adventure tourism, Agro Tourism, Eco tourism etc....
Incentives to Tour operators, Agents, Destination Management Company for inbound tourist.
Incentives for participating in Tourism Exhibitions, Travel Shows/Marts in India and abroad.
Incentives for Yuva Tourism
Incentives for Skill Development Programs
Incentives for Hospitality- related training.
Women entrepreneurs/SC/ST/differently-abled individuals to receive additional incentives.

Government Extends Interest Equalisation Scheme for MSME Exporter for 3 months

MSME manufacturer exporters who have already availed equalisation benefits of Rs 50 lakhs or more in 2024-25 till September 30 will not be eligible for any further benefit in the extended period.

Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has extended the interest equalisation scheme (IES) for pre-and-post shipment rupee export credit for three months from September 30 to December 31, 2024.

Launched in April 2015 and initially valid for five years till March 2020, the scheme offers an interest equalisation benefit at the rate of 2 per cent on pre and post-shipment rupee export credit to merchant and manufacturer exporters of the identified 410 tariff lines and 3 per cent to all MSME manufacturer exporters.

"Happy Women's Day"

MSME Mantra is working for the Women's Empowerment, under this in association with Maharashtra Center for Entrepreneurship Development (MCED) & Director of Industries (DIC) we have conducted one day workshop on "Women Entrepreneurship Development" for Self Help Group (SHG) in the various parts of Raigad District.

In which we have provided training to Self Help Groups Women's on the various Government Schemes & Subsidies, How to avail the loan, Documents Requirements, selection of product, branding and marketing of the products manufactured by them to become a successful Entrepreneur.
