BOUNCER NOTIFICATION FOR HARYANA VAT DEALERS AND MANUFACTURERS

Haryana Govt Notification no 22/ST-1/H.A.6/2003/S.59/2015
As per this notification, a restriction has been put on the amount of INPUT VAT credit taken on raw material or trading item where manufacturer or dealer is doing CST sale

VAT credit Allowable = Input VAT credit on trading item & Output CST amount which ever is less

For example : ABC ltd purchased nut bolt from A of panipat of Rs 100 vat amount Rs 5.25. Now ABC ltd is selling this nut bolt to XYZ of Delhi against C form at Rs. 110 , CST amount Rs 2.20.
Now in this case VAT credit allowable to ABC ltd will be 2.20 only in place of Rs 5.25 whereas previously allowed VAT credit was Rs 5.25

This notification is effective from 07.09.2015.
