यूपी गेट से राजनगर एक्सटेंशन तक एलिवेटेड रोड के पिलर बनाने के लिए मिट्टी की जांच का कार्य शुरू कर दिया गया है। प्रत्येक 500 मीटर पर मिट्टी की जांच की जाएगी। इस कार्य को 15 नवंबर तक पूरा कर लिया जाएगा। इसके अलावा हज हाउस के पास हिंडन नदी पर नया पुल भी बनेगा। जीडीए के चीफ इंजीनियर वीके गोयल ने बताया कि प्रोजेक्ट पर करीब 942 करोड़ रुपये खर्च होंगे। दिसंबर 2016 तक एलिवेटेड रोड बनकर तैयार हो जाएगा।
26 महीने में होगा निर्माण
यूपी गेट के पास एनएच-24 पर हिंडन कैनाल के क्रॉसिंग पॉइंट से रोड शुरू होगी। यह रोड हज हाउस के पास क्रॉस करेगी। राजनगर एक्सटेंशन में करहेड़ा पुल तक रोड बनाई जाएगी। इस प्रोजेक्ट को एक प्राइवेट कंपनी 26 महीने में पूरा करेगी। दिसंबर 2016 तक प्रोजेक्ट तैयार होने की उम्मीद है।
हिंडन पर बनेगा नया पुल
एलिवेटेड रोड को वसुंधरा से लूप बनाकर जोड़ा जाएगा। लूप सेक्टर-7 रोड के पास बनेगा। यहां भी मिट्टी की जांच की जाएगी। लूप के पास ट्रैफिक को स्मूद करने के लिए रोटेरी बनेगा। इस पर जीडीए अतिरिक्त पैसा खर्च करेगा। एलिवेटेड रोड के लिए हिंडन नदी पर हज हाउस के पास छह लेन चौड़ा नया पुल बनेगा। हिंडन नदी पर फिलहाल गाजियाबाद में चार पुल बने हैं। नए पुल को बनाने का कार्य दिसंबर से शुरू होने की संभावना है।
