Breaking the silence, one conversation at a time.
Ebix hosted a Cervical Cancer Awareness Initiative at our Noida Corporate Office, bringing together the women of our organization for an open, honest conversation about a topic that’s too often whispered about — under the guidance of Chairman Dr. Vikas Garg.
Here’s the reality: cervical cancer is the second most common cancer among women in India. Yet screening rates remain alarmingly low — not for lack of medical solutions, but because of the silence around reproductive health. Sociocultural taboos and stigma continue to hold women back from early detection and prevention, even in workplaces that consider themselves progressive.
We wanted to change that conversation, starting with our own team.
The session was led by Dr. Ronak Khandelwal, Senior Consultant- Obstetrics, Gynaecology & Laproscopy Surgery from Motherhood Hospital, who walked employees through the essentials — from understanding cervical cancer and the role of vaccination, to why timely screening can be lifesaving.
But beyond the facts, the session created something equally important: a safe space for employees to ask questions, share concerns, and talk openly about reproductive health without hesitation or judgment.
Because awareness isn’t just about information — it’s about permission to talk, to ask, and to prioritize your health without shame.
This is what employee well-being looks like at Ebix — not a checkbox, but a genuine, ongoing commitment to the people who make us who we are.
