The year 2024 has witnessed an accelerating growth in the registered investors base, crossing the 10 Cr. mark in Aug’24. Maharashtra leads in terms of registered investors with about 1.8 crore investors. Uttar Pradesh is next with around 1.2 crore, followed by Gujarat with 94.9 lakhs investors. West Bengal at 62.5 lakh and Rajasthan at 61.4 lakh. These five states together accounted for 48.3% of the investor base as of Nov’24.
