If transferring your policy to another LIC branch is a good option when you move to another city ?
Absolutely not ! Your Insurance Consultant (who did the policy initially) can always go extra mile to help however you are miles away but when you transfer your policy to another LIC branch then it is really difficult for that Insurance Consultant to help especially in Death Claims / Nominee Change etc. where one have to get the paperwork done physically at LIC branch and ultimately Customer/Nominee needs to visit LIC branch.
# Your Policy gets transferred to another LIC branch not Insurance Consultant, he/she remains same but not in a position to help sometimes due to change in LIC branch.
