Petronet LNG Limited Petronet LNG Limited, one of the fastest growing world-class companies in the Indian energy sector. The authorized capital is Rs. 1,200 crore ($240 million).

Petronet LNG Limited, one of the fastest growing world-class companies in the Indian energy sector, has set up the country's first LNG receiving and regasification terminal at Dahej, Gujarat, and another terminal at Kochi, Kerala. While the Dahej terminal has a nominal capacity of 10 MMTPA [equivalent to 40 MMSCMD of natural gas], the Kochi terminal has a capacity of 5 MMTPA [equivalent to 20 MMSCMD of natural gas]. The company is in the process to build a third terminal at Gangavaram, Andhra Pradesh. Petronet LNG is at the forefront of India's all-out national drive to ensure the country's energy security in the years to come. Formed as a Joint Venture by the Government of India to import LNG and set up LNG terminals in the country, it involves India's leading oil and natural gas industry players. Our promoters are GAIL (India) Limited (GAIL), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC), Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL).

With a ₹23,731 crore outlay and a 10-year framework, the initiative aims to scale domestic CBG production, strengthen rural value chains, create new opportunities and contribute towards greater energy security.

Petronet LNG Limited's Dahej LNG Terminal, as part of Swachhata Pakhwada 2026 (SP 2026) and Swachhata Hi Seva 2026 (SHS 2026) organised “Swachhata Samman” to recognise the dedicated support workforce from housekeeping, horticulture, canteen and transportation services.

Sh. Sanjay Kumar, Executive Director (Plant Head) along with other dignitaries, appreciated their valuable contribution towards maintaining cleanliness, safety and beautification across the terminal. The event also recognised the enthusiastic participation of PLL employees and their families in various SP 2026 and SHS 2026 activities.

The initiative reinforces the spirit of “Swachhata Mein Sahbhag; Swachh Bharat, Viksit Bharat” and celebrates the collective effort towards a cleaner and more sustainable workplace.
