I have raised an issue in front of Insurance co why the PPE kit is in non payable item as it used to protect doctor from direct contact with patients and they are charging for each kit per patient. Will all of us can take initiative to ask your insurance co what action they have taken in customer interest.

You can mail to you insrance co for clarification it pressures Insurance co to press hospitals to charge reasonable for Ppe kit. You can also share my mail id as I have already raised this issue in front of Insurance co and health ministry on 9 may

Portibility of Health Insurance:

There days we may switch our health insurance from one company to other which is really easy, but we must see before switching from one company to other that how old my policy is and what type of claim I have taken in our policy in previous policy, if we have taken claims of any kind of surgeries then please don't switch your policy without mentioning the surgery details to the new insurance company, as new company may deny your claim due to non disclosure of previous claims. Be aware of trout's who don't fill proposal forms at the time of switching the policy. Please fill forms by yourself before purchasing the new policy and take Xerox of proposal forms after and signed by you. So nobody can change.

Hypertensive Urgency

Hypertensive urgency is a situation where the blood pressure is severely elevated [180 or higher for your systolic pressure (top number) or 110 or higher for your diastolic pressure (bottom number)], but there is no associated organ damage. Those experiencing hypertensive urgency may or may not experience one or more of these symptoms:

Severe headacheShortness of breath Nosebleeds. Severe anxiety
Treatment of hypertensive urgency generally requires readjustment and/or additional dosing of oral medications, but most often does not necessitate hospitalization for rapid blood pressure reduction. A blood pressure reading of 180/110 or greater requires immediate evaluation, because early evaluation of organ function and blood pressure elevations at these levels is critical to determine the appropriate management.
