Centuries past , people hearing the rooster crow as the sun came up decided that the crowing caused the sun rise ! . Its silly now ,but every day experts confuse cause and effect on Dalal & wall street in offering same new explanation for why market goes up or down . When I hear theories like these ,I always remembers the rooster.

I HAVE BEEN IN THE MARKETS FROM LAST 25 YEARS it's a small fraction of experience . But as a student of financial history and as insider and outsider of market .Last few years I observed significant change in the market and it's functioning .

The perception on Markets have been changed in last 15 years from mixed economic perspective to a capitalist perspective .

Indian markets have been coming across various regimes ...As the markets have been maturing, like baby grew , from milk to solids , from no tax regime to Securities transaction Tax , short term capital gain to long term gain tax . And from no dividend tax to dividend tax on investors hands ... markets have been absorbing these shocks .... As the markets have been maturing and about to cross 25000 levels of Nifty , government is going to disincentivise equity savings ... As a long term investor slowly try to habituate to new tax regimes .

In the world of Investing, there are truths, there are lies, there are statistics, there are facts. The world we live in is no longer simple, But it is complex.

The qualities an Investor ought to have include self reliance , common sense , open mindedness, flexibility , willingness to do independent research , A equal willingness to admit mistakes and ability to ignore general panic and most important PATIENCE. These are the few qualities one should habituate to become a successful investor in all times . The biggest enemy in stock is not your stock broker or company management or media , but Its investors emotions ! .
Remember stock market investing is not T20 cricket or one day nor a test market cricket . ITS A MARATHON, stay invested wait for the opportunity don't rush.

My urge to the Indian Investors is to save money and invest more in the stock market. Aware of the developments and things creeping back into the economy .We need to be responsible for our financial success and not CNBC or your financial adviser.

I firmly believe in, that "Naggers & Naysayers on stock market, never make money " .
