🚨 *BIG INDUSTRIAL NEWS FOR NASHIK !*

🌽 *₹500 CRORE MAIZE PROCESSING PROJECT COMING UP AT CHICHONDI, YEOLA*

A significant milestone for the Nashik industrial and rural economy — an MOU has been signed between the Government of Maharashtra and Sukhjeet Starch Ltd. for a ₹500 crore maize processing mega project at Chichondi Industrial Area, Yeola, Nashik.

The MOU was signed in the presence of:

* Shri Devendra Fadnavis – Hon. Chief Minister, Maharashtra
* ⁠Shri Uday Samant – Hon. Industries Minister, Maharashtra
* Shri Chhagan Bhujbal – Hon. Minister & MLA, Yeola and Nashik Guardian Minister
* ⁠Shri Pravin Pardeshi (IAS) – CEO, MITRA
* Shri Sameer Bhujbal
* Shri P Anbalagan – Principal Secretary, Industries
* Shri Deependra Kushwah &Senior officials from the Industries Department / MIDC
* Management of Sukhjeet Starch Ltd.

📈 *PROCESSING CAPACITY*

➡️ Phase 1: 1,200 MT maize processing/day
➡️ Phase 2: 2,400 MT/day
➡️ Annual capacity: Approximately 3.5 lakh MT

👨‍🌾 *A GAME CHANGER FOR NASHIK*

The project is expected to create a major boost to the region’s agricultural and rural economy:

🌽 40,000 maize farmers in surrounding areas are expected to benefit through a direct and assured market.

👷 1,000+ direct employment opportunities are expected to be created in the rural belt.

*Team NIMA played a vital role in facilitating and supporting efforts to bring this significant investment to the Nashik district which is yet another milestone for making Nashik a favourite destination for industrial investment.*
