💰 Can you sell a bond before it matures?
Yes—but it’s not always that simple.
If your bond is listed, you can sell it on the stock exchange before maturity. However, the price depends on market conditions, interest rates, credit quality, and buyer demand. That means you could sell for a profit—or a loss.
If the bond is unlisted, exiting early can be much more difficult.
📌 Before investing, always check whether the bond is listed and whether you’re comfortable holding it until maturity.
