It's surprising every time!
People stand in a queue to buy the new edition of an iPhone, even though the same product will be available online or after some time.
I am not discouraging anyone from buying an iPhone. My question is about the emotional drama of standing in a queue just to be among the first buyers.
Why do people do it?
👉 They want to buy it on the first day.
👉 They want to declare themselves as “winners.”
👉 They want to show off among their friends and social circle.
But how many people understand the dark pattern behind this behaviour?
Is it an emergency?
Is it essential for wealth creation?
Big NO. NO.
In fact, electronic gadgets generally depreciate with time. What feels like a victory today can become a financial loss over the years.
Still, people love to do it.
Why?
Because many times, people become slaves to their emotions.
The same emotional behaviour can appear in investments too.
People jump into stocks, real estate, silver, or other assets because of:
• Emotional decisions
• Weakness and FOMO
• Herd mentality
• Social pressure
• The desire to be “first”
Sometimes, the biggest investment mistake is not the asset itself—it is the emotion behind the decision.
Those who learn to control their emotions, think independently, remain patient and seek genuine guidance can create a completely different wealth-creation journey.
Come out of the emotional cage.
Think. Analyse. Wait. Invest with a purpose.
