Beta of a stock=
If :
1.) β < 0 Asset generally moves in the opposite direction as compared to the index example-: Gold, which often moves opposite to the movements of the stock market
2). β = 0 Movement of the asset is uncorrelated with the movement of the benchmark Example -: Fixed-yield asset, whose growth is unrelated to the movement of the stock market
3.) 0 < β < 1 Movement of the asset is generally in the same direction as, but less than the movement of the benchmark Stable, Example -:"staple" stock such as a company that makes soap. Moves in the same direction as the market at large, but less susceptible to day-to-day fluctuation.
4.) β = 1 Movement of the asset is generally in the same direction as, and about the same amount as the movement of the benchmark Example -:A representative stock, or a stock that is a strong contributor to the index itself.
5.) β > 1 Movement of the asset is generally in the same direction as, but more than the movement of the benchmark
example -:Volatile stock, such as a tech stock, or stocks which are very strongly influenced by day-to-day market news.

Sun tzu Chinese military General and strategist ,
his teaching applied to stock market is all the folks have been telling us.. -:
Sun tzu says -: A kingdom once destroyed cannot be brought back, nor can the dead be restored to life. This is the way to keep a country at peace and an army intact....
(this is all we hear right from the big guns on tv right )
Applied to a trader-: It is said that the business of a trader is to stay in business. If you are not good in your methods, your equity will be gone and you will be out of business. So act when you see an opportunity and be content to stand aside when you do not.
another saying -:
"Before doing battle, in the temple one calculates and will win, because many calculations were made.
Before doing battle, in the temple one calculates and will not win, because few calculations were made.
Many calculations, victory, few calculations, no victory, then how much less so when no calculations?
By means of these, I can observe them, beholding victory or defeat! "
Your security analysis will tell you how much you are going to earn today or for long term or for short term.....
whether war or trading or investing or business Sun tzu should be the book to your bed side...

LESSON Evening Star and Morning Star ....
Evening Stars and morning Star are two powerful Reversal Patterns they Are 3 day patterns...(In the Image each candle represents a day price action as it is a daily chart).... below the explanation of the evening star is given (morning is the opposite of evening star ) ..As we said it is a three day pattern ... The first part of an Evening Star reversal pattern is a large bullish green candle. On the first day, bulls are definitely in charge, usually new highs were made.
www.fb.com/sfsltd
The second day begins with a bullish gap up. It is clear from the opening of Day 2( next candle ) that bulls are in control. However, bulls do not push prices much higher. The candlestick on Day 2 is quite small and can be bullish, bearish, or neutral (i.e. Doji).

NOTE -: A bearish candle on Day 2 is a stronger sign of an impending reversal. But it is Day 3 that is the most significant candlestick.

Day 3 ( third candle ) begins with a gap down, (a bearish signal) and bears are able to press prices even further downward, often eliminating the gains seen on Day 1.

The Evening star formation is a reversal pattern

Well the Morning Star is just the opposite ..
The first part of a Morning Star reversal pattern is a large bearish red candle. On the first day, bears are definitely in charge, usually making new lows.
The second day begins with a bearish gap down. It is clear from the opening of Day 2 that bears are in control. However, bears do not push prices much lower. The candlestick on Day 2 is quite small and can be bullish, bearish, or neutral (i.e. Doji).
NOTE - : a bullish candle on Day 2 is a stronger sign of an impending reversal. But it is Day 3 that holds the most significance.
Day 3 begins with a bullish gap up, and bulls are able to press prices even further upward, often eliminating the losses seen on Day1

Lesson (Chart patterns )
Head and Shoulders TOp and Bottom
In the Image you can see the formation of head and shoulder top
In the Stock bajaj auto ....
After the formation of the left shoulder and head a neckline was seen at 1562 ..... which later was broken the Neckline at 1562 ...
the Stock came all the way down
This was a example of head and shoulder top ....
Head and Shoulders formation consists of a left shoulder, a head, and a right shoulder and a line drawn as the neckline. The left shoulder is formed at the end of an extensive move during which volume is noticeably high. After the peak of the left shoulder is formed, there is a subsequent reaction and prices slide down to a certain extent which generally occurs on low volume. The prices rally up to form the head with normal or heavy volume and subsequent reaction downward is accompanied with lesser volume. The right shoulder is formed when prices move up again but remain below the central peak called the Head and fall down nearly equal to the first valley between the left shoulder and the head or at least below the peak of the left shoulder. Volume is lesser in the right shoulder formation compared to the left shoulder and the head formation. A neckline is drawn across the bottoms of the left shoulder, the head and the right shoulder. When prices break through this neckline and keep on falling after forming the right shoulder, it is the ultimate confirmation of the completion of the Head and Shoulders Top formation. It is quite possible that prices pull back to touch the neckline before continuing their declining trend.

Characteristics Of the Pattern
Most of the time Head and Shoulders are not perfectly shaped. This formation is slightly tilted upward or downward.
One shoulder may appear to droop.
On many chart patterns, any one of the two shoulders may appear broader than the other which is caused by the time involved in the formation of the valleys. www.fb.com/sfsltd
The neckline may not be perfectly horizontal; it may be ascending or descending 2
If the neckline is ascending then the only qualification of the formation lies in the fact that the lowest point of the right shoulder must be noticeably lower than the peak of the left shoulder.

Importance of Following the trend ..
When trading in markets like INDIA we always need to know what sort of market we are in. We need to ask ourselves before entering are we in a ranging market or trending market?
The reason this is so important is because if we are in a ranging market the chances are that the length of our trade is going to be shorter than if we were in a trending market and we were able to ride a nice long trend on the back of a pullback or wave.

How we can get into a trend ?
www.fb.com/sfsltd
Getting into a trend and making a bucket load of money isn’t as easy as just spotting a market that is going up or down and simply buying or shorting.
We can however catch some nice winning trades when we use patience and discipline to wait for pullbacks in the trend to nice areas, and then by hopping aboard the next wave and riding it for as long as possible.
Often the novice price action trader will make the mistake of thinking they have missed out and they panic and take a trade. What they should have done is used patience and just waited for the market to rotate back around and give them a chance to get aboard. No Forex pairs go straight up or straight down and all of them will eventually give you a chance to get into a trade. You must be patient.

How do we use Price Action to trade into a trend?
Using Price Action to get into a trade with the trend is the last tick in the box we need to have a great trade.
The chart example(bottom left ) highlights areas where the price has rotated lower in an uptrend and given us a chance to get aboard the trend. This is where we start to hunt for our Price Action set ups. Price Action set ups at these areas are just confirmation that we have got a trade.
www.fb.com/sfsltd
Here is a chart example(bottom right) of having an uptrend, a pullback, and a Price Action set up confirming we have a trade.
Also notice on this chart just how powerful these two set ups were:-
1. A Pin Bar Reversal
2. A Bullish Engulfing Bar, both at pullbacks in the trend.
