India Exim Bank has signed a Master Trade Loan Agreement with DFCC Bank PLC, Sri Lanka, it's Trade Assistance Programme, for supporting trade transactions between India and Sri Lanka.

The agreement was signed in Colombo on the sidelines of the 49th Association of Development Financing Institutions in Asia and the Pacific (ADFIAP) Annual Meetings by Mr. Sailesh Prasad, General Manager, India Exim Bank, and Mr. Thimal Perera, CEO, DFCC Bank PLC, in the presence of Ms. Devika Lal, Counsellor (Economic & Commerce), High Commission of India, Colombo. Through the agreement, India Exim Bank will provide credit enhancement for trade instruments, widening access to trade finance and supporting higher volumes of trade between both countries.
