In the colours and patterns of Rajasthan lives a craft passed down through generations.

Hand block printing is more than a way of creating beautiful fabric. It is a way of life for the women and artisans who keep this tradition alive. But for a craft rooted in local communities, finding wider markets and creating sustainable livelihoods can be a challenge.

At Anoohti, this is where opportunity began to take shape. With support from India Exim Bank, over 5,000 women have been trained, helping build a self-sustained enterprise and taking their craft to audiences across the world.

Today, every stamp carries more than a pattern.
It carries skill, dignity and the soul of Rajasthan.

This episode of Success Stories celebrates the hands behind the craft and how a timeless tradition is finding its place in the world.

In Rwanda’s Muhanga District, the Nyabarongo River has long shaped everyday life. But as communities grew, so did the need for reliable energy.

The 28 MW Nyabarongo Hydropower Project was developed to meet that need, bringing reliable, renewable energy to communities and strengthening Rwanda’s energy security and long term development.

Supported by a USD 20 million Line of Credit from the Government of India through India Exim Bank, the project has helped strengthen infrastructure and connectivity, extending electricity to further regions and supporting essential services and productivity.

Today, its impact can be seen in everyday life. In homes, schools, health centres and small enterprises. In greater access to opportunities and more active participation of women in economic activities.

Because when energy reaches further, opportunities can reach further too.

This episode of Success Stories looks at how a partnership between India and Rwanda is helping power communities and improve lives.
