Indian billionaire Ravi Jaipuria is accelerating his expansion across Africa after opening a $40million snacks, juice and dairy manufacturing complex in Zimbabwe, deepening his footprint in one of the continent's fastest growing consumer markets.

Through Varun beverages the company recently acquired South African beverage producer Twizza for $125 million, bosting it's competitive positing in the region.

DEFENCE FIRM declares 450% dividend after PAT jumps 61% in Q4 results.

In Q4 FY26, The co.pany reported net revenue of Rs. 3053 crore, Compared with Rs. 2167 crore in Q4 FY25, an increase of 40.87%.

EBITDA stood at Rs. 870 crore, Compared with Rs. 546 crore in sane last period (an increase of Rs. 59.34 %).

EBDITA MARGIN improves by 330 basis points to 28.5% from 25.21%.

The company has proposed a dividend of Rs. 11 per share (FV RS.2, so dividend payout rate is 550%), whose record date will be JULY 28, 2026.

The Government of India has updated customs duty rates on precious metals and related imports through a new Finance Ministry notification effective May 13.

The move comes amid, rising global economic uncertainty, leading to pressure on foreign exchange reserves and creating volatility in crude oil prices.

Large scale gold imports directly affect trade deficit, increase in dollar outflow, decrease in rupee stability and declining forex reserves.
