Culture is shaped by the conversations we choose to have. Every conversation has the power to influence culture. Small shifts in perspective can create lasting impact. It begins with one conversation, one perspective, and one person choosing to think differently.
Building on this, Vastu supported by IFC, as part of its advisory partnership hosted a 3-day workshop to challenge unconscious biases, encourage reflection, and foster a more inclusive workplace culture.
The program included an engagement with Vastu's senior management team and a Train-the-Trainer workshop for Vastu's frontline team who will serve as master trainers, enabling the continued rollout of gender sensitivity and inclusion learning across Vastu's internal staff. Through discussions on gender and workplace inclusion, unconscious bias, subtle acts of exclusion, microaggressions, inclusive leadership and communication, empathy, and diversity & inclusion, participants explored how everyday behaviors and organizational practices can influence employee experiences and opportunities.
The workshop aimed to strengthen awareness of gender-inclusive practices, support more inclusive employee engagement, and build internal capacity to sustain these conversations across the organization.
IFC’s advisory engagement is supported by the European Union under the Accelerating Climate-Smart & Inclusive Infrastructure in South Asia (ACSIIS) program.
By equipping employees to become inclusion champions, we aim to build stronger awareness, accountability, empathy, and belonging across teams.
One trained voice. A thousand changed perspectives.
