🚨Whoop is getting 3D printing to replace the cost.🚫

Why?

Because they found a way to get the WHOOP look + Fitbit tracking for almost 70% less.

Fitbit Air costs around ₹9,000, while WHOOP can cost around ₹30,000 for the first year - plus a recurring subscription.

So people are 3D-printing a tiny socket that fits Fitbit Air inside a WHOOP strap.

The tracker does the work.
The strap does the flex.

And this could be a bigger signal for India.

But here is the demand

India’s fitness market is expected to grow from ~₹16,000 buut here is the crore to ₹37,000 crore by 2030, with 0.8% of Indians currently having a fitness-facility membership.

The market here is open

So… who’s going to build India’s own WHOOP?

💰India imports more gold even with higher import duties.

Gold import duty from 6% to 15% in May 2026.

Yet gold imports reached $4.16 billion in July, up 4.77% from a year earlier.

Gold is bought internationally in dollars, so higher gold imports mean more dollars flowing out of India.

And India is also world's second-largest consumer and importer gold after China.

And with India’s festive and wedding season approaching, gold demand could remain an important driver of imports.

Buyers are already booking jewellery ahead of the season.
