Salient Points of the training session on " State Scholarship AIKYASHREE " :

1) Intensive publicity at the grass root level is required.
2) User id and password at the "Institution level" and "District level" right now. However, BDO and SDO will be allowed to access for monitoring purpose.
3) All applicants ( Pre-matric, Post-matric, Merit cm Means and TSP ) will be treated as FRESH except those in Swami Vivekananda Merit cm Means category.
4) Institution list of respective Block and Municipalities will have to be checked minutely. Left out Institution list has to be referred to the district. District will enter the left out Institutions in the portal.
5) The applicant will have to be domicile of West Bengal and a student of an Institution of West Bengal necessarily. Students learning in other States are not generally allowed in the system.
6) Students pursuing "Distance Education " are not allowed in the system.
7) Annual Family income- Rs2.0 lakh for Pre-matric & Post-matric categories and Rs2.5 lakh for Merit cm Means category. Family income will be certified by the guardian in Pre-matric, Post-matric, Merit cm Means & TSP category. By competent authorities in SVMCM category.
8) Supporting documents need not be uploaded in Pre-matric & Post-matric categories but should be uploaded in Merit cm Means category.
9) Hard copy of the application should be preserved by the Institution .
10) Bank Account Nos. have to be KYC compliant.
11) For Pre-matric- 1 mobile no. can be registered for 2 students. In all other categories- Separate Mobile no. should be registered for each individual student.
12) 50% Marks have to be scored in last examination. Both Summative and Formative Marks have to considered.
13) Amount of Scholarship will be 10% more than the previous one.
14) Institution Nodal Teacher will VERIFY the online application with hard copy application and Supporting documents.
15) The Nodal Teacher will check the "Admission Fees and Tuition fees" with that of the Institution. Otherwise, public fund may be wrongfully siphoned out. He will also check bank Account no and IFS Code ( with first page of bank pass book ) meticulously . Otherwise, transaction will fail for wrong bank Account No.
16) The Nodal Teacher can treat an application as "Defective" and send it back to the applicant, Reject it and REVOKE it.
17) District office will sanction the application.
18) Timely payment of Scholarship will be ensured.
19) The portal will work in all Browsers like Google, Mozilla Firefox and so on.
20) All stakeholders e.g. AI, SI, Institutions , Tathya Mitra Kendra, GP, Municipalities, Data Entry Operators, guardians etc are to be mobilised. Help desk has to be opened at BDO and SDO offices.
