Dear Friends,
Festivals give us an opportunity to celebrate and provide us an opportunity to rejoice in community. Our elders used to say: joy when shared increases and pain when shared decreases. Joy and pain are actually relative, and absence of either of the two will result in a loss of the other. These require frames of reference to exist. *The Town Hall Meeting at Bengaluru was one such festive occasion for Canarites across the country.*
The Town Hall Meet at Bengaluru had the gracious presence of our beloved *MD and CEO Shri L V Prabhakar sir, all the 4 Executive Directors, our young and charismatic General Secretary Sri Ravi Kumar K along with the entire contingent of Canpals across the country who were present physically or connected virtually. The meeting commenced with our beloved MD & CEO personally inviting our General Secretary Sri Ravi Kumar to join on stage for Lighting of the Lamp and pay tributes to our Founder.*
Our beloved General Secretary Shri Ravi Kumar in his address on behalf of all the Canpals of the country with his vocal skills mesmerized the elite gathering. He congratulated our MD & CEO, the entire Top Management and all the Canpals in our Mother Bank having achieved the global business of 20 trillion. He also thanked our beloved MD and CEO for all the benefits extended to all the Canaraties during his tenure viz - PLI, Enhancement in Rental Ceiling, Term Insurance, Diwali gift, Historic vacancies and Promotions etc and eventually positioning our Mother Bank as a trend setter among all the peer banks. Recollecting his contribution to our Mother Bank, *he conveyed that he was not only our MD & CEO, but the first citizen and a father of all of us.*
For all the contribution of our beloved MD & CEO and his impactful mark of excellence to our Mother Bank, our beloved *General Secretary promised on behalf of CBOA that “THE VISION OF THE TOP MANAGEMENT SHALL BE THE MISSION OF CBOA.*
Our beloved MD & CEO Sri L V Prabhakar sir in his address spelt out his mission of making sure that all Canarites are happy and excited about what they do, and that we build a Bank that family and friends can be proud of. Canarites are a diverse group belonging to various religions, of different ages and genders. He is of the firm belief that the synergies born of this diversity, enable’s to quickly adapt to changes in society and meet the needs of our customers. Let’s aim to be a financial services hub, that society needs and our customers trust is his dream for our Mother Bank.

Let me close with the hope that 2022-23 will continue to be a milestone in our Mother Bank’s long history. Let’s thank everyone that has contributed to our current position and I’m confident that our journey has just begun!
