JK Bank RSETI Kupwara Holds Valedictory Function of JK REGP

Kupwara: JK Bank Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI), Kupwara, organised the valedictory function of the Jammu & Kashmir Rural Employment Generation Programme (JK REGP) at its Salkote campus.

The event was attended by Lead District Manager (LDM) Mr. Tanveer Ahmad, KVIB Officer Mr. Younis Ahmad, and Director RSETI Kupwara Mr. Iqbal Ahmad Jawher, who graced the occasion as chief guests.

The programme marked the successful completion of the Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP), aimed at promoting self-employment and nurturing entrepreneurial skills among rural youth. Certificates were distributed among the trainees, while the dignitaries lauded JK Bank RSETI for its continuous efforts in empowering aspiring entrepreneurs and strengthening livelihood opportunities in the district.

The speakers emphasized the importance of entrepreneurship in generating sustainable employment and encouraged the participants to utilize the skills gained during the training for establishing their own ventures.

The valedictory function of the Desktop
Publishing (DTP) training programme was held at J&K Bank Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI), Kupwara,marking the successful completion of the course by 26
trainees.The training programme was
aimed at equipping unemployed youth and aspiring entrepreneurs with practical skills in desktop publishing to promote self employment and income generation.
During the course, participants received hands-on training in various computer applications related to document design, layout preparation, and basic graphic designing.

Director of J&K Bank RSETI Kupwara,
while addressing , congratulated the traineesfor their successful completion of the programme He highlighted the importance of skill-based training in today’s competitive job market and emphasized that desktop publishing offers
wide scope for self-employment in areas such as printing units, business centers, educational institutions, and advertising agencies.
The Director encouraged the
trainees to utilize the skills gained during the programme to start their own
ventures or work as freelancers. They also briefed the participants about
various bank-sponsored and government self-employment schemes available to support
small entrepreneurs.
Certificates were distributed among the successful candidates during the valedictory function.
The trainees expressed gratitude to the institute for providing quality training and guidance, stating that the programme had enhanced their technical skills and confidence.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the efforts of the trainers and staff of J&K Bank RSETI Kupwara for successfully organizing the training programme. The institute reiterated its
commitment to conducting more such skill development programmes in the future
to promote self-reliance and entrepreneurship among youth in the region.
