The Rifle Factory Co-operative Society-র দেওয়া New Year Gift হিসেবে পেলাম Bombay Dyeing-র মতো বিখ্যাত কোম্পানির কম্বল এবং বিছানার চাদর। Single Ply কম্বলটির সাইজ 2.20 মিটার X 2.40 মিটার অর্থাৎ 7 ফুট 2 ইঞ্চি বাই 7 ফুট 10 ইঞ্চি। দুজনের গায়ে দেওয়ার মতো যথেষ্ট বড়ো সাইজ। বিশাল সাইজের কম্বলটির Fur-এর quality এতো সুন্দর এতো সুন্দর যে ধরলে ভেলভেটের চেয়েও নরম ও আরামদায়ক লাগছে। এরকম দুর্দান্ত কোয়ালিটি যে বলার অপেক্ষা রাখে না।
বিছানার চাদর - একেবারে খাটি সুতির চাদর। সাইজ 2.24 মিটার X 2.54 মিটার অর্থাৎ 7 ফুট 4 ইঞ্চি বাই 8 ফুট 4 ইঞ্চি। মানে কার বাড়িতে যদি 7'X6' সাইজের একটা খাটে 6" উঁচু গদি থাকে, সেই খাটেও এই চাদরটা দুপাশে ঝুলিয়ে পাতা যাবে। সাদার উপর নীলের শেডে ছাপা চাদরটা বেশ sober taste। চাদরের সাথে দুটো বিশাল সাইজের বালিশের ওয়্যার।
সব মিলিয়ে দু-দুটো গিফট এককথায় দারুণ হয়েছে। এত সুন্দর গিফট দুটো বাছাই করার জন্য সোসাইটির সদস্যবৃন্দদের অনেক অনেক ধন্যবাদ। আগামী দিনে আপনাদের সুযোগ্য পরিচালনায় রাইফেল ফ্যাক্টরী কো-অপারেটিভ সোসাইটির আরো সমৃদ্ধি ঘটুক এই প্রার্থনাই করি।
