Trading Calls for 13-Nov-13:

The IIP numbers and CPI data were quite dissapointing. Sept IIP came at 2% (below estimate of 3.6%), while the CPI has risen to 10.09%. Market will react negatively to these numbers, at least during the 1st half. If Nifty breaks the psychological level of 6000 and sustains there, more downside is possible. However as market is closed tomorrow, there might be a little bounce in the 2nd half due to covering of positions.

US has reported a better than expected GDP figure yesterday. In the anticipation of earlier QE tapering, the US market tanked yesterday. Similar effect was propagated to Europe as well towards the later part of the trade. Nifty is expected to remain weak and every rise should be utilized to go short in the market for short term.
