West Bengal state in it's budget introduced Settlement of Dispute Scheme for VAT, CST & Entry Tax.
1. 25% of disputed tax if paid within 31st March 2020.
2. 25% on half of disputed tax before 31st March 2020 on the balance half of the disputed tax, they will be required to pay 30% in maximum of 6 monthly instalment from April 2020.
3. Entry tax - only tax needs to be paid within 31st March 2020 otherwise 50%of admitted tax within 30th March and balance 50%with nominal interest in maximum of 6 monthly instalment.

The Government has issued The Banning of Unregulated Deposit Schemes Ordinance 2019 on 21.02.2019. Pursuant to this ordinance now any Individual or group of individuals can’t take any deposit or loan from any person other than relatives and Partnership firm can take deposit or loan from relatives or partner or partners only.
