Vineet Rai, Founder & Vice-Chairman of Aavishkaar Group, was recently featured on Season 14 of ET Now’s Leaders of Tomorrow, and in conversation with Ritwika Gupta discussed India’s evolving entrepreneurship ecosystem and the opportunities emerging beyond traditional startup hubs.
With the vision to bridge the opportunity gap for the emerging 3 billion, Vineet spoke about funding the entrepreneurial spirit of India, how women founders can forge their way ahead & the emerging opportunities for Indian startups to grow exponentially. He highlighted Tier-2, Tier-3 and Tier-4 markets, noting both the challenges around capital, talent and infrastructure and the untapped opportunities these regions offer.
The conversation also touched upon access to capital, AI and technology, women entrepreneurship and the qualities required to build scalable businesses, with Rai emphasising the importance of having an ambitious vision while remaining adaptable.
Looking ahead, Vineet shared Aavishkaar Group’s ambition to reach ₹1 lakh crore in assets under management by 2035, with a broader focus on creating impact at a continental scale.
