Thanks to All Rotarians from Different Rotary Clubs for attending the First FINANCIAL LITERACY PROGRAM of Rotary International District 3291, of Rotary Year 2025-26, at Hotel Kenilworth, hosted by RC KOLKATA BENEVOLENCE, on 27th April, Monday Evening.

It was great experience for me to address the Senior Rotarians, on a subject very close to my heart, Financial Literacy and Investors Awareness.

Also it was a proud privilege to have Mr. Dhananjay Banthia as an esteemed speaker at the Event.

Everywhere we are talking of JUSTICE. First the crime happens and then we want justice. We need to do something so that such crime stop. We need exemplary punishment for the criminals. And also we as a society together need to work on VALUE SYSTEMS of Individuals. Corruption, R**e, Murder and all sorts of crime happens, when the value system of an individual is not strong. Nowadays there is no differentiation between RIGHT and WRONG. The entire Society is being run by MONEY POWER. Everyone is evaluated in the society on the basis of HOW RICH THE PERSON IS. Not on the basis of HOW WELL BEHAVED THE PERSON IS.

Till we change as a Society, these sort of crimes will keep happening. And till the Administration System change, criminals will escape after committing such condemnable crimes.

At St. Xavier's College, Park Street.

Young Students are the future of our Society, but if guided properly. Thanks to St. Xavier's College Management and the Student Cell, for inviting me to talk to the Career Opportunities in the Financial Sector. After spending 28 Years in the Financial Sector, it was a great experience, interacting with the 1st Year and 2nd Year B.Com, B.Sc ( Economics ) and B.M.S. Students.
Around 40+ Students had attended the session.
Initially out of 40 Students, only 2 Students wanted to be entrepreneurs and 2 Students wanted to work in Sales and Marketing. Rest wanted Desk Jobs in Operations role or Financial Analyst role.
Astonishingly, after my 2 Hours session, 20+ Student wanted to apply for Job / Internship in Sales and Marketing role. What a transformation !!!
They came and told me that, had they attended my session earlier, they would have joined sales and marketing internship, much earlier. It was really satisfying to find that my words have been instrumental in transforming young talents of the most prestigious college of Kolkata.
