This is a clear picture of struggle, devotion and hard work of the founder Shri Brahma Swaroop Mishra. The bank was organized with the support and help of people from lower income group as the founder himself belongs to same category of class. In initial stage the bank was organized and got registered with Registrar, Co-Operative Societies, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow with a meager amount of Rs.6,00

0.00 which comprised the share capital and
deposits. Today the own funds of the bank as on 31.03.2013 is Rs. 532.05 Lacs which consists of share capital, reserves and profit. The founder himself, a person of ordinary means, marginal former and belonging to lower income group had a dream to serve people of weaker section of the society by meeting their financial needs. To achieve his objective he started to organize a bank under cooperative sector and it became a mission of his life. After a long struggle his mission took shape only in the year 1983. The then finance minister of Uttar Pradesh Shri Brahma Dutt accepted invitation to inaugurate the bank but due to some conspiracy by the jealous political opponents at the eleventh hour he denied to inaugurate the bank. An instant decision was then taken and inauguration of the bank was performed by the Great Saint Honorable Shri K. Ramanujacharya. The refusal of the Finance Minister to inaugurate the bank and inauguration of the bank by a saint was a deep trust of the founder in God and his associates. The founder being disappointed by this circumstance and took it as a big challenge and by his hard work not only got inaugurated the bank but got it registered with Registrar, Co-Operative Societies, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow, got permission from Reserve Bank of India for carrying on Banking Business under section 22 of Banking Regulation Act, 1949,. The bank started its functioning and today its progress is worth telling.
