PAC Committee Reviews JKRLM Activities in Bishnah and Suchetgarh Blocks.
The Committee on Public Accounts (PAC), chaired by MLA Sham Lal Sharma, today conducted an inspection visit to the Jammu and Kashmir Rural Livelihoods Mission (JKRLM) blocks of Bishnah and Suchetgarh. The visit was accompanied by Secretary, Rural Development Department & Panchayati Raj (RDD & PR), and Managing Director JKRLM, Dr. Shubhra Sharma.
During the visit, the committee reviewed the implementation of various JKRLM programmes and assessed their impact on rural livelihoods, self-help groups, and women’s empowerment at the grassroots level. The officials interacted with field staff and beneficiaries to gain firsthand feedback on the functioning of schemes and the progress achieved in the respective blocks.
The PAC emphasized the need for transparency, effective utilization of funds, and timely ex*****on of projects to ensure maximum benefits reach the intended beneficiaries. The committee also issued necessary directions to strengthen monitoring mechanisms and further improve the performance of JKRLM initiatives in the region.
