I am in for this cause, because I feel having a "secular" constitution and having different laws for different sects and religion itself is ridiculous and contradictory. Why Civil Code is according to their religion, and Criminal code is common and universal. Will they accept if the hands of a thief of their religion are cut (shariyat) and hindu thief is just imprisoned. Their criminals stoned to death and Hindu criminals in jail, they may be whipped and stoned in public for small crimes. If criminal code is universal (UCC) then why not Universal Civil Code.(UCC).?
