i would like to bring to your notice that few people are using Indian Army DP and stating themselves as Persons working in Indian Army and committing cyber crimes.
Coming to details , i m Mahesh Pasham working as an
STAR HEALTH INSURANCE AGENT. Two days ago I got a call from a person stating that he works for indian Army and looking for health Insurance.he quoted his name as sahil kumar.As a routine procedural process i asked him to forward his details along with his aadhar card
He shared Below details required for insurance:-
1) Name Sahil Kumar
2) Date of birth 4/11/1994
3) Height 6.3
4) weight 74.200
5) email I'd [email protected]
6) phone number 9583514214
7) occupation job
8) Pre existing diseases
9) Aadhar card
I have generated and sent him the required payment link so that he can pay online. He said that he has very little internet connectivity and the payments will be also processed by his senior army personal Sanjay Singh(9091968803).and that too from Indian Army Account.
Due to respect towards the Indian Army i was trying to help him in getting insurance as though his address was stated as Jammu & Kashmir.
Today a person stating himself as Sanjay Singh (Indian Army ) called me and said he can pay money using phone pay and asked for my phone pay number. He later said he can't find me on phone pay and asked me to send 1 rupee to an account using scan code (.he explained me the process on call even ).As i scanned it and sent 1 rupee for verification later he sent the other QR code with the insurance amount (Rs.8,340/-) and asked me to do the payment . I just stopped here and immediately blocked all these numbers.
I haven't lost any money but I thought of reporting the issue as these criminals are using INDIAN ARMY names for their crime .
