client's gait was off, and she noticed a lot of uncoordinated movement, which concerned her. I did some balance testing and she passed those with flying colors. The eyes are part of the vestibular system, so I decided to try that. testing found her right medial re**us overactive and her left lateral re**us underactive. Released the right medial re**us and activated the left lateral re**us using our unique protocol.
Then we found the left suboccipital muscles overactive and the left lateral re**us underactive. Released the suboccipitals and activated the lateral re**us.
That correction to her vestibular system had a profound effect on her gait and coordination.
