The material moving by railways for Hubli-Dharwad and nearby surrounding areas, needs storage space, when they are offloaled at the yard till they reach their respective final destination. Such goods offloaded at railway yard needs to be shifted swiftly to the nearby go-downs to save the costs such as dammarage and warfage which has been increased three to four times compared to which is being charged by railways earlier. As such the goods are to be shifted swiftly from railway yard /platform to nearby go-downs to cut cost, and the material needs to be moved by trucks from go-down to their final destination. Till such time the customers need the storage space, to store such merchandise. Such goods moved by railway are in huge qualities and they can not be moved so swiftly, as such requirement of go-down facilities becomes a necessity in the near vicinity of railway yard.
