Intense drama unfolded at Bürgenstock resort in Switzerland as the Iranian delegation abruptly walked out of peace talks, protesting aggressive public statements and military threats by US President Donald Trump.

In a phone interview with Fox News and on social media, Trump threatened to resume heavy bombing, “take over” Iran, and “blow the s--- out of them” if Iran failed to stop Hezbollah’s actions in Lebanon or attempted to close the Strait of Hormuz.

Led by Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf and Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, the Iranian team refused a planned joint photo and declined to enter the main hall with US Vice President JD Vance’s delegation before ultimately leaving the talks.
