What is a good SHORT entry for ETH
1. The price has already touched the previous high in the shorter timeframe. However, in a bigger time frame the previous high was ard 4100.
2. Also, the price is making a shifting value area. Shown by blue price channel. According to this the third high will touch the value high ard the price point of 4100. The price may remain above the value high for a few candles before returning to the control price and finally going towards value low i.e. in the 3830 range (white polyline)
3. The price may cross the value high during the first half of 28th May.
4. There is no fundamental news on ETH and the volume is also ard the average volume. This will ensure that only responsive trading will take place for the next 24 hrs.

2. LONG Entry range between 3640 to 3660. This can be found by applying the volume histogram indicator. Low trading volume is seen at the range 3640 to 3660. This is an ideal entry for a LONG trade.

How to differentiate a "Price Correction" from a "Change in Trend"
1. The trading activity takes place on both sides of the control price in the blue price channel, this indicates that the up trend is not very strong and there is a balance between the demand and supply. In case of a change in trend the price remains between the control price and the value price high, clearly, that isnot the case here.

2. So as soon as there is an excess in the green channel the price shortly drops, indicating initiative trading by sellers and again the price moves in the green price channel. Therefore, this is just a price correction in a Down Trend and not a change in Trend

How to find out if the trend is going to change
June '22 to Jan '23
ETH is in the downtrend. Marked by a bigger value area in Blue Parallel Channel. Within the bigger value area, i have marked a smaller value area marked in Green Parallel Channel.
Signs of Change In Trend
1. Trading activity has increased above the control price of the Blue Channel.
2. There is a Huge excess just below the Green Vlaue Area. Marked by white circle. This indicates that the Buyers are entering the market.
3. Meeting of the Control Price of Blue Channel and Value Price Low of thr Green channel. This point is called "Confluence".
4. After the confluence the price rotation becomes smaller and smaller. Marked by white channel inside the green channel.
These are the signs that the trend is going to reverse.

What are the signs that the trend is going to change.
1. From 4th to 28th Feb there is a steady increase in the control price. And the price moves above (Red zone) and below (Blue Zone) the control price.
2. Red zone area is more than the Blue zone area. This indicates a Bull run. And there are no excess prices before 4th March. This indicates a smooth Bull run
3. From 4th March to 12th March, there are 3 excess prices. (White circles) This shows that the sellers are taking back control.
4. Although the volume maxed at 340k from 12th to 17th March but almost 6 candles were touching the 340k mark in 5 days. This was almost 3 times the average volume during that period.
5. Other imp point: On 28th Feb and 4th March the volume was 870k. More than 4 times the avg volume. Still the initiative trading from sellers was not able to bring the price to a lower value area. This is due to the strong Bull Run as seen by no excess prices during preceding period.

Why did price fall from one value area to another value area
1. There are 5 excess prices (marked in white) on the value high.
2. There are 2 excess prices (marked in yellow) on value low.
3. 700k volume was due to initiative move from the sellers on 12th April. It brought the price from above the control price to below the control price. But it could not take the price to the lower value area.
4. Another initiative move by the sellers with volume 426k on 13th April was able to bring down the price to a lower value area.

Therefore the more number of excess prices above the value high and two initiative moves by sellers was able to bring down the price to a lower value area.

Other Imp Pointer
Under a normal trading day, a volume of 870k was also not sufficient to bring the price to a lower value area.

As BTC has been in the Bull Run since Jan 2023, this weekly chart shows the projection of the Value Area (Green Parallel Channel) it will create in the next 6 to 8 months. Currently, the buyers are in control of the market; as most of the trading is done in the area above the Control Price. Before the trend reverses, the price has to come below the Control Zone, which is not the case right now. So, we can expect the trend to continue for a minimum of 8 to 12 weeks.
Control Price of BTC is projected with white dotted line till Feb 2025. The corresponding Value High is mentioned with Blue Arrows.

Volume in ETH is higher as compared to the week starting 4th March and 11th March, this indicates that fresh traders have traded in ETH, this is primarily due to the ETF news that is doing the rounds. However, a 2nd approval is needed from SEC before ETH can traded as an ETF (Exchange Traded Fund).
