UPI Tap & Pay and MyUPI (UPI Help 2.0) launched by Hon’ble Governor of RBI, Shri Sanjay Malhotra, at Global Fintech Fest 2026.

With UPI Tap & Pay, Android users can make contactless payments at NFC-enabled POS terminals by simply tapping their mobile phone, using their SBI Card on RuPay linked to UPI.

MyUPI makes UPI payments more informed and easier to resolve, enabling customers to view details of the QR code or payee before making a payment and raise complaints for disputed transactions directly through their UPI app, with eligible complaints automatically converted into chargeback requests.

Together, these innovations take the UPI experience a step further, bringing greater convenience, confidence and control to everyday payments.
