The Supreme Court has decided against conducting a re-examination of the NEET exam after hearing the case. The court acknowledged that the exam paper was leaked but found no evidence that the leak occurred on a large scale. The individual responsible for the leak is untraceable, and the device used for the leak has not been identified. The allegations of the widespread leak remain unproven, leading the court to conclude that a re-examination is unnecessary.
In general, it is believed that if someone leaks an exam paper, their intention is to earn a significant amount of money. How, then, was this decision reached without thoroughly investigating the mobile phone used in the leak? It is also said that the decisions of the Supreme Court cannot be criticized, yet this leaves hard-working students at a disadvantage, potentially missing admissions due to malpractice in the examination. For instance, cities like Sikar have a disproportionately high number of students scoring above 600, approximately 25%. This concentration of high-scoring students raises questions about the fairness and integrity of the exam process.
