Exciting Growth Ahead for Sitara!

We are thrilled to announce a significant development in our journey! Partners Fund I LLP (Arpwood Partners) has committed to invest INR 680 crore to acquire a majority stake in SEWA Grih Rin (Sitara), marking a milestone in our mission to make affordable housing accessible.

Founded in 2015, Sitara has successfully grown its Assets Under Management (AUM) to approximately INR 1,200 crore, serving over 25,000 customers. This investment from Arpwood Partners, alongside continued support from our existing investors—Abler Nordic, Oikocredit, RNT Associates, HDFC Bank, HDFC Life Insurance, Women’s World Banking Asset Management, and Omidyar Network—amounts to a total equity capital raise of INR 705 crore. These funds will be pivotal in scaling our operations and extending our services to more families in need of affordable housing solutions.

We believe this partnership with Arpwood Partners is not just a financial enhancement but also a testament to the trust and potential seen in Sitara’s model of impact through affordable housing.

Sharing an exciting event at the organization!

As part of our customer outreach program 'Udaan,' the team traveled to eight vibrant cities, engaging with our customers face-to-face, sharing knowledge, and empowering them to make informed financial decisions over the last few weeks. In these sessions, we emphasized upskilling and educating our customers on evaluating their financial decisions.

In addition to financial awareness, we held discussions and workshops to guide our customers on ways to prioritize their mental health, helping them lead balanced and fulfilling lives. These 'Udaan' sessions have enabled us to connect directly with our valued customers. The face-to-face interactions have given us a platform to understand their needs, concerns, and aspirations.
